Application in Heavy Industries

A nickel layer was put on a crankshaft of a ship. The layer had a thickness of 0,3 – 0,4mm.

The demanded tolerance was reached by plating Nickel.

In this case two 12 meters long grooves (10 x 10 x 10) of a plate for measuring were plated with 25 microns Nickel to reach the tolerance.
